Pittoresque villages and historic cities and boroughs lie scattered in the wide open hills and valleys.

Every village has its own weekly market where local products are sold. Some have special ‘brocante’markets. 
In summertime lots of open air theatre performances about stories from local history take place.  The city’s yearly music festival is very well known.

It is listed as one of the Gers Historique Monuments and is also one of the best preserved in South West France. Festival des Bandas à Condom

The Bandas Festival takes place in Condom every year, the 2nd weekend of May , it is the largest Europeen meeting of Brass bands and drums!
The festival goes on for three days, Friday there are concerts in the main stage , the entire town is taken over by the festival .

Festival tempo Latino

The Tempo Latino Festival takes place in Vic Fezensac,the last weekend of July,  the music is  afro-cubain and latine. It is amazing, with all people dancing in the streets, bands playing all over the town

The famous Jazz in Marciac takes place every year the first three weeks of August ( 1 hour drive from condom)  

Every year this summer music Festival gets bigger . Not only Jazz musicians , this festival boasts stars of rock and soul and various other music genres too. A three week event which includes dancing and music in the streets and the main square. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and stalls selling all manner of articles, lots of which are handmade.

A vibrant and welcoming affair, it is great fun for all the family and people of all ages. The Historique town also has a beautiful lake with a boat restaurant ” La peniche” and a outdoor swimming pool.

Nogaro Race track : Nogaro , dating back to 1060 AD is situated in the department of the Gers Occitanie.

The race circuit trade of ” Paul Armaganc” hosts both motorbike race and the Coupe du monde motorbike race and the french super bike championship ‘FSBK”

Ideally located to this track is the town where the local armagnac distillery can be found as well as both Roman and Gothic churches . Several cafes and restaurants allows the local cuisine and drinks ” apero”to be delighted in while experiencing and enjoying the ” Gersoie ” culture.
